What Do You Think?

I've been thinking about LaToyia Figueroa and how Stephen Poaches, the father of her child, is being charged with murder on two counts. Someone wrote a letter to the editorial staff of the Metro and brought up a very interesting and very valid point: if members of the pro-choice community agree that abortion isn't really killing a child then how can one conclude that murdering a pregnant woman is killing two people? Should Poaches be tried for murder on one count or two?

Does it matter how far along she was in her pregnancy? If she was four weeks pregnant and someone murdered her, is it still murder on two counts?

actually i have an answer to that.. abortion is ONLY legal in the first trimester.. after that it isnt because the fetus is not considered Älive" but aware..now depending on how long her pregnancy was.. but also since she chose to have a the baby does that mean it wasnt considered a non-entity? this is so confusing..maybe the dude did something that was directed at the baby..
