During lunch we watch CNBC and sometimes we chat about what is on TV. Today we were talking about Bush's visit to Pakistan and everybody started bashing Bush and talking about how horrible he is and how his approval rating is so low. I, being the snarky bitch that I am, subtly pointed out that they all voted for Bush and therefore cannot make such comments. They pulled the whole "Oh, Kerry is so scary" argument. In all honesty, can you get worse than Dubya?
I think, besides the conservative Christian values Dubya supports, a lot of people voted for him because of his strong stance on the war. No progress has been made on the war! People are still being killed! And, you can argue whether this is because of the war or not, but now there is added violence in Iraq, the whole Palestine situation has become more complex, and then there is Iran. Not to mention the people that were just killed in Pakistan and Afghanistan. And what about the national debt?
Oh, and another thing Dubya, where is Osama? Are you still looking for him? You b-tard.

You're right, there is nothing wrong with hating someone you voted for. Except when it comes to Dubya. It would be one thing if he received a lobotomy and totally changed his direction and agenda mid-way through his presidency. But he made it clear where he was going to go. Nothing that has happened during his time in office should come as a surprise to anyone. He has been very open about his thoughts and policies from the start and people still voted for him. And now they complain about the very things they had the power to prevent. Silly people.
